DIVERS: Help keep diving OPEN in Laguna Beach. There is a new proposal to restrict diving due to aggravated neighbors who are fed up with poor diving etiquette.

PLEASE:

*Keep all noise to an absolute minimum, especially during early morning and hours of darkness.

*Purge your reg by placing the mouthpiece in your mouth and breathing it down.

*NEVER crack your tank in the neighborhood. Do that at your dive shop or at home.

*Keep your radio off when your car doors or windows are open.

*Whisper.

*Keep your lights from shining into homes.

*Keep your personal belongings and your dive gear in your vehicle as much as possible.

*Do not place your stuff on someone else's private property. (Do not use their walls, mailboxes, shrubs, driveways, etc., as your locker room.)

*Minimize the sand and water you bring up from the beach.

*Avoid the appearance of tailgating parties during your surface intervals. It is a neighborhood of homes, not a stadium parking lot.

* If instructing down at the beach speak to your students toward the ocean, not toward the homes.

*Be courteous!

*Help educate others about good diving etiquette.

~Thank you!
